Broadband is a high-speed Internet connection using which you can connect from home or office. The speed that can be delivered starts from 256 Kbps (which is theoretically almost 5 times as fast as the dail-up connection) to as high as 2 Mbps. It is also capable to make a network( e.g. LAN) at your premises to share Internet. You only need fixed telephone line connection at your home which you can apply if you don’t have one and a broadband modem( CPE) which you can procure from us( see below).

Broadband Tariff

(Packages and monthly tariff for Broadband Services)

Monthly tariff means the minimum applicable charge for a month cycle and customer will be allocated data upload/download limit corresponding to a particular package.

Prepaid customer

Customer’s account will be exhausted whichever – a 30 days monthly cycle including the date of activation or data/quota limit comes first, until the renewal of the account. If you have quota left on the limit and your monthly renewal cycle is about to end, please renew prior to the end in order to have your quota carried-over.

Postpaid customer

Customer can continue to use account within the calender monthly cycle even after the limit has reached, but additional charge for the usage applies corresponding to the package. However, the expiry date i.e. the calender monthly renewal cycle applies.

Optimizing Your Broadband Internet Use

Please be informed that the data quota allotted to your subscription accounts your every Internet activity and not only uploads and downloads of files. This means the data quota will include but not limited to: browsing of websites, chatting (both texts & voice), downloading/uploading of files (documents, music, movies, etc.), sending/receiving emails and attachments, etc. Therefore, please refrain from unnecessary Internet activity which will consume your quota and cost your more.

Set up charges:

1. No set up charges if CPE is procured from BTL. The cost of CPE is NU 1350/-
2. Nu 250.00 if customer wants to install thier own CPE*.
