Dial Up Service
Dial-up provides Internet access using a computer and a fixed telephone line. Your computer should have a modem installed. All modern computers now come with in-built modem. The maximum bandwidth attainable on dial-up is only 56 Kbps. Charge for a dial-up applies only to duration of connection made using your telephone line. This means you can carry your laptop to any fixed telephone and use Internet from there.
