The interested individuals/parties are requested to visit Phuentsholing BT office on 5th & 6th June 2012 from 0900 – 1700 hours (during working hours) to inspect the items. Tokens will also be issued during the same time.

Terms and Conditions

1. Each bidder shall be required to deposit an earnest money of Nu. 5,000.00 (Ngultrum Five Thousand Only), and a non-refundable registration fee of Nu. 300.00 (Ngultrum three hundred only) in cash, with Bhutan Telecom Ltd., Phuentsholing, from 5th – 6th June 2012, during office hours, to qualify him/her to bid for the auction. An original receipt and a token card each shall be issued from BT office, which should be produced during the auction day, without which, the bidders will not be allowed to participate in the auction.
2. On the auction day, 7th June 2012, the gate will open at 0830 hours and will close at 1000 hours. No token shall be issued on the auction day. All registered bidders should be seated by 1000 hours in the auction hall.
3. The highest bidder, whose bid is accepted by the Auction Committee, shall deposit 25% of the auctioned value in cash at the fall of hammer, and balance within 10 days from the date of auction, failing which, accepted bids shall be cancelled, and earnest money forfeited.
4. The earnest money of the highest bidder shall be retained until the auction is completed, as security for subsequent bids to be offered by them in respect of remaining items. On completion of the auction, the earnest money of the highest bidder shall be adjusted against the auction value of items won. The earnest money of unsuccessful bidders shall be refunded immediately after completion of the auction.
5. The highest bidder/s, whose bids are accepted by the Auction Committee, shall take delivery of the items at their own cost, immediately upon payment of remaining 75% of bid value in cash or demand draft in favour of Bhutan Telecom Limited, Thimphu. Failure to do so will result in forfeiting the earnest money, and their item shall be disposed off in the next auction.
6. Bhutan Telecom Limited shall not be liable, incase of any loss or damage/s to the items from the date of Auction, till the highest bidder takes delivery of the item/s.
7. The Auction Committee reserves the right to accept or reject the bids without assigning any reason whatsoever. In case of misunderstanding, controversy or dispute with regard to the auction, the Committee’s decision will be final and binding.
8. The Auction Committee also reserves the right to accept the bids on the spot or at any subsequent date. Even in case the bid is not accepted on the spot and the decision is differed, the highest bidder/s shall be required to deposit 25% of auctioned value, which will be refunded in the event of bid being rejected subsequently.
